The University of Illinois and the University of Wisconsin are currently taking steps to advance hemp farming and experimenting to learn more about CBD products. They are doing this by recruiting farmers who will be planting and testing out different types of hemp this year. In exchange for the farmers doing this, the farmers will receive discounted samples of cannabinoids and only have to pay $60 to participate in the program.
The farmers will be instructed as to how they should plant and take care of the crops as well as how they are to be fertilized. The two universities are hoping to find out more about how hemp seeds grow in the region by conducting this experiment.
