New CBD Law Change In South Africa

Across the entire world there have been many new efforts to continue making CBD widely available to customers. One such change recently occurred in South Africa, where they amended a law pertaining to CBD. Previously, South Africa required a doctor’s prescription for someone  to purchase any type of CBD or hemp product, making it very difficult for CBD products to be purchased by customers looking to use it on a daily basis.

South Africa  recently changed this law and now allows certain CBD products to be sold over the counter. These include products that are marketed for general health or relief of minor symptoms. This means that the products that customers look to use for general relief from CBD are now easier to attain and can be sold on a larger market than just through prescriptions made by doctors. Hopefully this law will stay in place and allow for the CBD industry to grow in South Africa.
