New Rules Being Proposed For Hemp Production and Sales

Texas has recently proposed some new rules regarding edible hemp consumption products and other CBD products. The rules proposed at the beginning of May are planned to take full effect in July. The rules include changes for more regulation of CBD products so that edible hemp products can be sold more widely while still providing consumer certainty.

Among some of the regulations include the efforts to implement product testing and more labelling requirements for CBD products being sold in Texas. This includes standardizing QR codes and providing more information about the manufacturers and their contact information. These steps are important in protecting consumers and ensuring that they know exactly what is in their CBD products. The regulation is also making important progress in helping CBD products become more widely approved and available on the market as they will be properly regulated and can be ensured to be safe.
